The “Los Angeles Clippers” is a team situated in Los Angeles, California that participates in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Los Angles Clippers play their home games at the Staples Center, the Staples Center is an arena pooled with Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA, Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women National Basketball Association (WNBA).
In the year 1970, a franchise from the Clippers was founded and was recognized as the “Buffalo Braves”. After 8 years, the Buffalo Braves moved to California and was known as the San Diego Clippers and in the year 1984, the San Diego Clippers finally moved to Los Angeles, California. Though its history has become a massive mark, the charter failed to see the value of the regular season and or playoff success.
On another downside, the Clippers were also seen as a case of constant loser in the American sports by its negative comparisons to the successful history of Lakers with whom they have merged a market since the year 1984 and an arena since the year 1999.
However, in the early quarters of the year 2010, the Clippers showed a turnaround with the hold of the best players Cris Paul and Blake Griffin. In the year 2013, the Los Angeles Clippers successfully won its first division title, the victory was achieved as the Clippers made the playoffs for the third time in the past eight seasons and the ninth time in the franchise history.
The Los Angeles Clippers ended a better record compared with the Lakers for the fifth time and earned the season’s victory for the second time since moving to Los Angeles in the year 1984.The Clippers were also frequently held as the champions in the year 2014. These achievements were added to their up and coming rivalry with the Lakers that will surely make the NBA enthusiasts more excited.
